Laura Abrass, MSW, LICSW
Mental Health Therapist
Laura is a mental health professional working in EVOLVE’s clinical programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota and holds an MSW degree through the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine University. She is a licensed social worker in Minnesota. Laura has a variety of experience in youth and family work, in-home crisis intervention, therapeutic supervised parenting, and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She has experience in multiple settings (hospital, residential, intensive in-home, outpatient, and community), as well as experience with different therapy models. Laura is currently in the process of completing the certification for Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Laura has expertise in working with young children and families, child development, family home structure, organizational skills, parenting skills, psycho-education, and child maltreatment prevention. Laura is passionate about supporting and guiding children, parents, and families to find a healthy balance when faced with multiple challenges in their life. Laura aspires to support and strengthen familial relationships and continue to prevent child maltreatment.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling.
