Amy Sainsbury, Board Chair, Elected March 2018, 2nd term

Amy, Board Chair, has worked for Medtronic for 19 years in a variety of roles within Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence, and Medical Education. Her first nine years were spent within Medtronic Shared Services in several leadership roles working with the CardioVascular Group, as well as RTG business units.

The last 10 years have been in the Restorative Therapies Group, first in Operations working as a Lean Sigma Program Manager leading projects in several functional areas, and most recently in Neurosurgery Medical Education and Sales Training as Director.

Amy has extensive leadership, project and change management experience — both in direct leadership roles and as a project manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Hamline University and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.

Amy is also a Certified Lean Sigma Black Belt and a Certified Master Change Manager. Amy is thrilled to be a part of EVOLVE’s board and is looking forward to working with everyone to achieve EVOLVE’s goals.
