Curl Confidence For children ages 3–12 and their caregivers
This compassionate, no-judgment workshop teaches foundational skills in natural haircare—washing, detangling, moisturizing, styling—and celebrates the cultural importance of hair.
Celebrate Identity, Confidence & Connection This June! We’re excited to offer a series of free, hands-on workshops for Minnesota’s Black fostered, adopted, and kinship youth and their caregivers. Led by award-winning stylist and educator Faatemah, these sessions are designed to build confidence, deepen cultural pride, and equip families with real tools for self- and haircare.
Note: All youth must attend with a parent, caregiver, or worker. Come to the session that fits your family—or attend more than one! Each event offers tools, conversation, and connection to help your family grow with confidence and care.
Space is limited—register today! Please note that submitting a registration does not guarantee acceptance. You will receive a confirmation email once your spot in the workshop is secured. Each child must be accompanied by a caregiver throughout the workshop. If you are registering multiple children, a separate caregiver is required for each child.
