Volunteer Spotlight: Lia and Kaylee Zimmerman

Picture of Lia and Kaylee Zimmerman Volunteers At Evolve

Lia and Kaylee Zimmerman were hard at work at EVOLVE Adoption & Family Services’ Stillwater office recently. Kaylee donned gloves and helped her mom pull weeds as Lia helped print EVOLVE’s newsletter.

These two girls adopted through what’s now EVOLVE and stopped back to help out after each feeling the call to volunteer.

Kaylee, 12, is heading into seventh grade in White Bear Lake, where she enjoys math and playing the violin in orchestra. She’ll show off her talents on the violin at EVOLVE’s 40th anniversary Ruby Gala on Oct. 27 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis (Check the next email for more information on attending).

Lia, 14, is getting ready for her freshman year of high school, and she enjoys gymnastics and history/social studies.

Volunteers play a key role in helping EVOLVE, a nonprofit dedicated to a world where everyone has nurturing, permanent and supportive family relationships.
