Adoption Option Council of Minnesota (AOCM) seeks to be a source of accurate and honest information about adoption. Each year, dedicated and trained volunteers present their adoption stories to thousands of Minnesota high school students, community members and professionals. Classroom presentations are suitable for students in 9th to 12th grades.

The panel includes the perspective of birth parents, adoptive parents, adopted persons, birth grandparents and social workers. The focus of the presentation is to educate the community about adoption as a positive option. Please advocate for AOCM’s speakers’ panel to be invited to speak in classrooms at your local high school!

If you have experiences with adoption that you’d like to share, please contact AOCM. Together, we can ensure that people aren’t limited by outdated or incorrect impressions of adoption.
