Photo Contest

Over the last few weeks, HOPE held it’s #imagesofhope contest. We were thrilled to get some wonderful entries in our contest.

Laura submitted her photo and said, “This is a photo of our son last summer around his 4th birthday. He is handing me a dandelion, not yet bloomed, and saying ‘Here is a flower, Mommy because I love you.” My partner and I struggled to have children and wondered how our family would come to be. We remember the frustration, sacrifice, and anxiety associated with the adoption process. But now we know of the constant love, meaning, and joy it also provides adoptive families. I hope this photo gives hope to those struggling with all the unknowns, and that someday your dandelion will bloom, too.”
