“New Adoption Agency Opens in Stillwater”

That’s the heading of this article dated November 20th, 1978. That year coincides with (yep, you guessed it!) HOPE Adoption‘s agency opening. Of course, this “brand spanking new agency” was located in the old NSP building at the time, not at it’s current location off of Highway 36.

A special shout-out for Anne McManus, who is mentioned in the article as the “Administrator”. Anne has put on many hats for HOPE in her years of working there. Over 36 years later, Anne is still devoting her time to the work being done in and around this agency. What a great influence and resource she had been throughout the years! Thank you, Anne!
